Sacha LaCasse, Clinical Director of DATG, is a practicing psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University. Sacha combines her gentle approach to therapy with a fierce commitment to family and community. She is a crisis interventionist and long time child welfare advocate experienced in dealing with issues such a grief, anxiety, autism, and the LGBTQ challenges. Sacha is trained in a range of modalities including a somatic approach to the treatment of trauma, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral and play therapies. Her background includes experience as a therapist in both elementary and high schools. Sacha has provided psychotherapy to underserved families and those involved in the Child Welfare System. Her expertise and passion for working with children and families promotes change and healing. Sacha’s hopes for her clients are that they may know themselves as peaceful whole and safe.
